A recap on Mental Health Awareness Week

We took part in Mental Health Awareness Week – a week dedicated to raising awareness of mental health topics such as stress, relationships, loneliness, altruism, sleep, alcohol and friendship.

To show our support to this important topic, there has been activity taking place throughout the week to promote good mental health.

The Customer Service team held a 'Cuppa and Cake' event with our Mental Health First Aiders in one of our Reigate offices. The event was a great opportunity for colleagues to get to know our Mental Health First Aiders better and learn how to recognise and manage stress and relaxation.

In Belfast, a number of self-care workshops took place on how to use aromatherapy to look after yourself. The sessions focused on relieving stress, properties of oils and techniques on facials, hand and arm massages.

A colourful and delicious spread of nutritional food was made available as part of a 'Food for the brain' buffet. £180 (including the Just donation) was raised from the event and will be donated to the Mental Health Foundation.
