We have an exciting opportunity for a ER Advisor to join our HR Operations team, to support the Senior ER Advisor and HR Operations Manager in providing day to day guidance and support to managers and employees on policies, procedures and best practice to help positively resolve cases.
Reporting into the HR Operations Manager, you will role help to upskill and coach managers to drive high performance, either in on a one to one basis or via organised group training sessions. You will also support on cases across the full employee lifecycle as required, but will be specifically responsible for the more operational cases e.g. absence, flexible working, capability, probation in addition to pulling together appropriate MI and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide timely and practical advice and support to managers on all employee relations matters. These include but are not limited to absence, capability, grievances, disciplinaries, redundances.
Working with the Senior ER Advisor to ensure all processes are up to date and in line with best practice, employment law and regulations and are visible and understood by managers and employees.
Investigate concerns raised about unfair or unlawful treatment and/or behaviour
Support with grievances, disciplinaries and appeal processes.
Partner with Compliance, or other areas to lead investigations and oversee adherence to firm policies.
Counsel individual employees regarding work concerns, health and personal issues that may impact work.
Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees about firm policies, culture, conduct risk and employee relations.
Produce regular MI and reports in addition to business insight
Skills and Experience
Proven HR experience with some experience in processes and/or policies
Knowledge of UK employment law
Previous experience of working in a HR generalist or HR shared service team
Previous experience of working with a varied, caseload and being able to prioritise your workload
Well organised, with an ability to work to tight deadlines and excellent attention to detail
Listens actively and thinks creatively to pragmatically resolve conflicts and issues
Good data skills, Workday knowledge would be an advantage
