About You: 
The role is ideal for those who enjoy working in a mathematical area, as the role will be based within a small DB Administration team that ensures the administration and monthly payroll funding runs smoothly throughout the DB Policies. We will fully support and train individuals who thrive in this environment.

Working cross-functionally, you will facilitate client and customer requests; This includes handling a variety of member queries, dealing with complaints, and solving matters relating to the administration of the DB policies. The role incorporates supporting other areas of the wider DB Team by providing key information and assisting with administrative matters such as creating the payroll calendars and the annual payroll for new schemes.

Within this role you will:

  • Work with our clients, TPA’s (Third-party Administrators) and DB team to ensure all DB payments are made on time and are accurate. 
  • Produce quotation information for deferred members and pensioners within strict SLA’s.
  • Act as a point of contact for our TPA’s and Pension Scheme Administrators. 
  • Support our TPA’s, members, clients and the wider DB Team with administration and payment queries, complaints, and service concerns. 
  • Provide support for our TPA’s and internal audits. 
  • Support the DB Operations team and wider DB Team with various tasks associated with client requirements, administration, reporting, MI, payments, and data validation.
  • Engage in process and other improvement initiatives.

What you will need to have:

  • The ability to manage your own workload and prioritise a number of different tasks based on business volumes and priorities
  • A good team worker, able to establish and communicate priorities with a number of people to ensure adequate support is given to the team 
  • Good organisational and planning skills
  • Customer service focused
  • Excellent communication skills– with the ability to communicate information across different media (e.g. in person, telephone, letter, email)
  • Clear focus on quality, service, and results
  • What will make you stand out:
  • Some understanding of DB Pensions and how they differ from individual annuities
  • An understanding of the Life and Pensions Insurance Industry
